Caravans Qatar World Cup New Accommodation Solution

According to Omar al-Jabir, Executive Director of the Housing Department of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, “The caravans project will be inaugurated this week at Darb Al Saai in Al Messila to give Qatar World Cup 2022 fans more housing and accommodation alternatives.”

The site will be ready to accommodate about 1,500 modules. The caravan will be procured from local vendors. The site will be in the center of Doha, close to two metro stations, and offer a variety of amenities. One of the project’s developers came up with the concept by suggesting that the public be involved in creating new housing possibilities during the event.

Saeed al-Kuwari, executive director of the Hayya platform, was quoted by a local Arabic newspaper as having stated on the Al Kass channel that beginning in November, entry to Qatar will be restricted to those who have Hayya Cards, with the exception of residents and Qatari citizens, for the duration of the competition. Visitors from all nations, including non-residents of the GCC, are subject to the rule. The introduction and expiration dates of the Hayya requirement have not been specified.

However, all residents of Qatar and citizens of Qatar are allowed to leave and enter the country at any moment throughout the event. Holders of any match ticket will be eligible for Hayya card privileges and may remain in the country for the duration as long as accommodations are available.

The Hayya Car is a multiple entrance permit with a validity date of January 23, 2023.  For the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, a special hotline called “2022” has been introduced, where residents of Qatar may obtain answers to their questions about the events and any associated problems. It is now only available in English and Arabic, but will eventually contain all five FIFA-approved languages. The dialing code for this country is 00974 44412022.
